Understanding Qualification Status

Traditionally, around 6% of candidates qualify for Assistant Professor eligibility, while approximately 1% are recommended for JRF, subject to availability of slots.
Validity and Next Steps
• Assistant Professor eligibility is valid for a lifetime.
• JRF validity is three years from the date of result.
• For Ph.D. admissions, NET scores are valid for one year under the revised UGC policy.
Qualified candidates should begin preparing documents for Ph.D. admissions, interviews, or faculty recruitment as per their eligibility status.
